ALL DRESSED UP AND NOWHERE TO GO

Inspired by a moment we all know too well—the Covid pandemic, this editorial takes a humorous and lighthearted approach to our time spent in isolation. Confined to our homes, fashion had nowhere to be seen—yet the urge to dress up, escape, and create joy never left.

From eating cereal in a sparkly dress to playing golf in the living room, the imagery playfully captures the absurdity of being all dressed up with nowhere to go. As the story unfolds, the model’s solitude spirals into the wonderfully bizarre, ending up as a lampshade, a shower curtain, and the embodiment of creative boredom.

The location was chosen to feel like time stood still, transporting us to a world caught between eras—where isolation stretches endlessly, yet the smallest moments feel exaggerated. The styling is over-the-top and glamorous contrasting sharply with the mundane surroundings.

The accompanying fashion film was designed to spark joy while reflecting the contrast between extreme boredom and the wild, inventive ways we coped with too much time alone.

This editorial is a celebration of escapism, humor, and the resilience of self-expression—because sometimes, the best way to deal with uncertainty is to get dressed up and embrace the absurd.
